Laura’s practice includes a broad range of civil litigation matters, with a focus on employment law and general business litigation. She helps individuals and businesses navigate their legal disputes in a practical and cost-effective manner, taking into consideration the economic impact of litigation.

In her employment law practice, Laura counsels and represents both employers and employees regarding a wide variety of workplace issues, including contractual disputes, wage and hour law, discrimination, harassment, disability accommodation, and termination. She represents employers and employees before state and federal administrative agencies, including the California Labor Commissioner, the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. Laura helps business owners and managers navigate complex workplace laws and proactively avoid future litigation with proper policy management and implementation.

During law school, Laura was honored to serve as a Policy Research Fellow for the Panetta Institute for Public Policy. She is currently an assistant professor of Legal Remedies at Monterey College of Law in Seaside, California. Laura is also a member of the Naval Postgraduate School Toastmasters Club and the Monterey Bay Chapter of the United Nations Association.
